Our verdict: After years of reviewing meal replacement shakes and being somewhat disappointed with the results and carbohydrate-focused “complete nutrition” other meal shakes offered, I think I’ve finally found the one that I’m going to stick with.
HLTH CODE offers amazing keto-friendly, balanced nutrition with only 4g of carbohydrates. It’s become an essential part of my daily routine and is a complete meal I can consume quickly instead of lunch.
Not only does it save me time, the fact that it has vitamins and pretty good macronutrient ingredients also means I no longer have to take a multivitamin—I can get all the nutrients I need in one drink.

HLTH Code only sells one version of a complete nutrition shake (with two flavors) and an optional blender bottle—that’s it! And this is what arguably makes it the best meal replacement out there.
HLTH Code is built different, that’s for sure. They decided to stay away from over-productization and create one thing (with two flavors) that works really, really well.
Since I started to drink meal replacement shakes and found out about HLTH Code, there haven’t been any flavor changes. It’s clear that they are focused on making a healthy meal and doing what they know best, but it sure would be nice to get more delicious flavors. Especially since I don’t like chocolate!

Overall, I’d say it tastes pretty good. The shake ends up being pretty thin, despite how little water you need to add. I’m going to experiment with adding less water.
There is a slight chemical-y taste in this. I wouldn’t say it is one of those nuclear sweet or weird artificial flavor tastes, as it can be subtle (and the shake contains no artificial sweeteners or flavors), but it’s a little off sometimes.
Overall, it’s something I could probably drink for a long time, but it would be nice if there were more flavors.
It really isn’t the fault of HLTH Code that this was the last flavor I decided to break out after completely finishing and enjoying the tasty flavors in Creamy Vanilla. I’m not a fan of chocolate shake powders or chocolate dessert flavors in general.

HLTH Code and Soylent are two completely different types of shakes. Soylent isn’t afraid to use GMO ingredients, more plant protein, and artificial components.
Besides that, the major differences are HLTH Code’s keto formula and more expensive price point.
In my opinion, HLTH Code is just all around a much, much better, and more nutritious shake than SlimFast Keto.
